I've recently got myself a we job at Sainsburys to help out for a bit of extra pocket money and while I was helping out at the clothing I had a quick look at Goks range in TU. It's got loads of great pieces which fit in really well with the high street and i can't wait to get a few things for myself. Some of my fav trends right now were in the collection from fashionable day wear to party outfits. It really caters for a large group of women I feel of all shapes and ages. Time to Play!

Right it's defiantly party season and time time to hit the town for some festive fun. My new favorite party outfit has to be the playsuit. It's easy to put on (not so easy to take off!), comfy (which is always a plus if it's also fashionable) and  is a whole outfit in one which is so much more convenient and cheaper than trying to put a whole new outfit together and worrying if the top matches or is not tucked in right to the shorts. River Island and Lipsy are leading the way with a whole range of them right now each cuter than the next. I took ages trying to choose just one and can't wait to save some pennies to get maby just one more!

sharp shirts

After seeing Pixie Lott on never mind the buzzcocks I fell in love with her shirt dress and had to find myself one (for anyone who never seen it it was navy with a black collar and orange cuffs). I wasn't too sure about having a shirt the buttons done all the way up the neck on myself but I found a nice blouse that is loose but looks great from New Look. After browsing about I've spotted the blouses in a few places right now. They look really smart and come in lots of different patterns and colours to suit everyone however I'm more of a fan of the simpler ones just personally i think they look sophisticated. They can be worn during the day with jeans or at night with some leather leggins or cute little shorts.

Toastie Toes

As much as I love buying party shoes (see last posts!) I know how important it is to have cosy feet especially in the winter season. This is why I have made the sensible option of buying some sheepskin lined boots for every day use. I will blame this purchase on the cold weather and the comfort of my feet rather than perhaps the real reason which is I think the little boots that most shops have in right now are adorable and I had to buy some to go with my winter wardrobe. They go with thick tights and shorts, leggins and skinny jeans so really anything you fancy! I wanted black but unfortunately they were only in brown which in hindsight was quite good as brown probably goes better with my jackets too.

Festive Feet

I love love love all the festive party clothing right now especially sparkly shoes. I wish I could get them in every colour they add the perfect Christmasy look to your outfit. They are all over the high street right now in such a variety of colours and shoe types for every outfit. I had a genius idea after finding the perfect shoes and thinking they would be perfect with glittery heels I popped to the shops bought some PVA glue and glitter and made myself my perfect party shoes. It made a bargain pair of plain shoes go up in trend instantly. I can't believe how easy it was and in my opinion you can't even tell they are homemade.

OK i know this isn't really fashion but i think it's so cute I had to share with you! I found it while i was browsing on Urban Outfitters website and thought id have a we look at the gifts for Christmas ideas as its so scarily close now.  They have lots of funny and cute bits and bobs for the home and gifts so get looking for pressie inspiration. I'd love this collage canvas it would complement my room perfectly.

I've found a jumper which is similar to this design it's cute and comfy just what you need for the winter!
Also, i think the design would make a great printed t-shirt too.

Keeping cosy

I love this new scarf that I was generously given by friends back from their holiday in Turkey. The pattern is so interesting and your eye catches a new piece of it every time I put it on. I love the colours which go with lots of my clothes and jackets for the winter. The feel of it is lovely I cant bring myself to go out without it now its just what I need to keep me cosy in this cold Aberdeen weather and goes wonderfully with my furry jacket. I couldn't have a chosen a better gift myself and really appreciate the newest addition to my outfit.

Furry nice

First of all, I am loving faux fur right now it looks great as well as being cosy for the winter making it a perfect jacket. There are soo many places on the High Street with a great range of luxury faux fur jackets from Matalan to Miss Selfridge in a range of designs form Dalmatian to tiger!

 This one which I purchased was a bargain from TK Maxx they have a great selection of faux fur jacket right now for the winter season. I was abit hesitant at first with it being so big and fluffy but now I literally live in mine so I highly recommend getting one before that first snowfall trust me you’ll fall in love too.

I do not have the fortune of having big beautiful bright eyes which catch your attention therefor I need to resort to other means to achieve fluttering lashes. I have tried sooo many mascaras and I think I have eventually found the one for me. Thanks to Rimmel and their new Scandal Eyes mascara with its huge brush which stops blotting and accentuates your lashes. I love using it on a daily basis and extra coats for hitting the town!

A new beauty regime which I have never had any thought in adopting previously into my make-up routine are false lashes. However, after watching my flatmate wearing hers out every time we go to town I thought i'd try it and now I see what all the fuss is about, I'm hooked. These are super cute by Collection 2000 and a major bargain at only £2.99!!!

I am beginning to get a slight animal print obsession especially leopard print. That's why when I seen these shoes at a bargain price of £19.99 I had to get them quick! There is so much on the high street right now like this and I've spotted a gorgeous pair  from Office however they are not quite in my price range right now as well as Dune also adopting this style in some of their footwear.

They really can go with almost anything to dressing up a pair of skinnies to hitting the town in a cute or sexy dress. They go with a surprising range of colours too from red, purple, blue, black its really up to you. They add a great impact to a simple look if you wish to just wear your fav LBD.

Racy lacey

This is a great purchase from New Look, it even comes with a thin black belt to emphasise the waist and adds a little something to it or you can mix it up and add your own belt making it as funky or plain as you wish.

This is a great we dress for a night out dancing with the girls and a top for dressing up an everyday look. I am enjoying looking at lace in some high street shops right now especially in bright colors such as blue and red. Black is sexy but bright colours are more fun and flirty.

Short shorts!

One of my favourite buys lately has been high-waisted denim shorts. These are seen by lots of girls about town the higher and shorter the better as even in this cold weather as you can accessorize and keep warm with thick tights and boots. I also added a little cute belt which completes the look and looks good if you have a top tucked in. Topshop have a great range including American Flag printed ones which I especially love in so their defiantly going on my Christmas list!

I also added a little printed t-shirt to my ones which I loved wearing through the summer and with a chunky cardigan I can enjoy through the winter too. This one was from Urban Outfitters which is one of my favourite shops that unfortunately I can't enjoy browsing around very often as there is only one back home in Edinburgh.
